Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you and Codeur d'Ivoire (“we”). The app is distributed through app stores; the store is not a party to this agreement, but its own terms also apply to your download and to any purchase you make there.

What the service is

Health Log is a personal logbook to record, display and share readings the user typed in from their own devices. It does not interpret, alert, diagnose or advise. You type in the readings from your own blood pressure monitor, glucose meter, scale, oximeter or thermometer; the phone measures nothing.

Health Log is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

You are responsible for what you type in. The app only checks that a value is within its typing ranges, which exist to catch a slip of the finger: they are not a judgement on your health.

Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own purposes. It gives you a right of use, not ownership of the app, its code, its design or its content.

What you may not do

You agree not to do any of the following, yourself or through someone else.

• Copy, modify, distribute, rent, sell or sublicense the app, or redistribute it outside the stores that carry it.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where the law expressly allows it despite this restriction.
• Circumvent or interfere with the ads in the free version, or with the checks that decide whether Pro is unlocked.
• Disrupt the app or the services it relies on, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

The free version

The free version is funded by banners on History, Trends and Settings, and by an occasional full-screen ad after you share a report or when you come back to History, Trends or Settings. The ads are served through Google AdMob; we do not write or select them and are not responsible for their content, and a complaint about a specific ad goes to Google. It includes:

• logging, and the whole history;
• charts and statistics for every period, the morning and evening blood-pressure averages included;
• PDF reports for the last 7 or 30 days, or for a custom range of up to 30 days that starts within the last 30;
• every CSV export;
• reminders, visit plans, backup and restore;
• the app lock and Hide content in Recents;
• two writable profiles.

Pro: plans, prices and billing

Pro adds: Averages by context, by tag and for every time of day · Reports over any period and for the whole household · No ads · Unlimited family profiles.

The plans on offer, their prices, billing periods and any free trial are those shown in the app at the moment you buy, in your currency, and confirmed by your store before you pay. The store charges the payment method on your account.

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in force, unless you cancel before that period ends — on the App Store, at least 24 hours before. If a price changes, your store tells you beforehand and, where required, asks for your agreement. A one-time purchase unlocks Pro with no recurring charge, for as long as the app remains available.

When Pro ends

If Pro ends, nothing you logged is hidden or deleted. The first two profiles, by creation date, stay writable. Every other profile stays readable, chartable, reportable, exportable and deletable, but adding or editing its readings needs Pro. A renewal makes those profiles writable again, with nothing to restore.

Rewarded videos

Two videos are optional and never required. Watching one from the report screen unlocks one 90-day PDF report of one profile, without the breakdown that Pro adds, at most once every 30 days. The video in Settings suspends ads for a limited time.

Free trials

Where a plan includes a free trial, the app states its length before you start it. Unless you cancel before it ends, the trial turns into a paid subscription and your store charges you. A trial is offered once per store account, where the store makes it available.

Cancelling, refunds and withdrawal

You cancel a subscription in your store account; the app links to the right page from its settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro stays active until the end of the period already paid. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds are handled by your store under its own policy. Write to us if something went wrong with a purchase, and we will help where we can.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the law may give you a right of withdrawal for digital content, which can end once supply begins with your consent. Nothing in these terms removes the mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence.

Restoring a purchase, and failed renewals

Pro is attached to the store account that bought it. Installing the app on another device signed in to that account restores it, and the app offers a restore action if it does not appear on its own.

If a renewal payment fails, your store decides whether the subscription keeps giving access for a while so you can fix the payment method. The app follows what the store reports and grants no access of its own beyond it; while that window is open, it tells you when access ends.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue the app or any of its features, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We may also change these terms: the date at the top of the page changes with them, a material change is announced in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use the app afterwards means you accept it.

Intellectual property

The app, its name, its code, its design and its content belong to Codeur d'Ivoire or its licensors. Open-source components remain under their own licences, and third-party trademarks belong to their owners.

Third-party services

The app relies on third parties — among them Google for distribution, advertising, analytics and crash reports, your app store for payments, and RevenueCat for purchases. We are not responsible for their availability or their failures, and their own terms apply to your use of them.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data or loss of profit; where liability cannot be excluded, ours is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including under the mandatory consumer rules of your country.

Ending your use of the app

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it; an active subscription is cancelled separately, in your store account. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms.

How the app handles your personal data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Technical requirements

The app runs on Android 8.0 or later and is available on Google Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.codeurdivoire.healthlog). You are responsible for the data charges your use generates.

Governing law and language

These terms are governed by Ivorian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you habitually reside, whose courts you may also seize.

If a provision of these terms is held invalid, the others remain in force. These terms are published in English and in French; if the two differ, the English version prevails.
